Praise & Worship Teams

Team Leaders: Dave Traver and Dan Bangle

Sunday Worship – 10:45 am     No Sunday Evening Services
                Wednesday Worship – 7:00 pm

Every service held at OC Naz is filled with a collection of voices and instrumentalists to focus our minds and hearts on God.  Our passion and purpose is to bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ as we meet together in corporate weekly praise and worship and to live and demonstrate a personal life-style of worship that will draw others to the saving knowledge of Christ.  Above everything in this life, God is worthy of all blessing, honor, glory and power.  Praise & Worship create an atmosphere for God to rain down His glory, His love, and His healing power.

Worship Orchestra:  The orchestra is the driving force behind our music!  The worship orchestra sets the tone for worship each week.

Praise Teams:  A variety of vocal and instrumental teams help lead us in our praise and worship times.  They play a vital role in making the worship experience so great.

Technical Services:  The technical team is the backbone of our worship ministry.  Technical areas include: sound operation, lighting, visual support and any other IT or communications related areas.

Membership Classes

Join a Membership Class and become a part of our church family.

Learn what it means to be a Christian, the history of the Nazarenes and what sets us apart from other Christians. Contact Pastor David Shankle if you are interested in becoming a member.

Membership is partnering, investing, belonging, giving, receiving and so much more.  It is not just experienced by what others and the church can do for you, but by what you can do for others and the church.  It is not just going to the church, but being the church; working together to lift up Jesus so all are drawn to follow Him.  Membership is a personal declaration that you are committed to the purpose and call God has given the church and that you can be counted on to fulfill it.

VALUES OF BEING CONNECTED THROUGH MEMBERSHIP:

  • Provides the opportunity to be a part of something much bigger than our local church.
  • Provides a spiritual family, relationships and fellowship, so you can never stand alone.
  • Provides a body of believers to strengthen and encourage as we partner together to reach our community through love and good deeds.
  • Provides a place to make a significant difference in the lives of others and leaves a legacy that can impact others for years to come.
  • Provides a place where you can grow and be equipped in the things of God and opportunities to use your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experiences.
  • Provides an opportunity to lead and fulfill the purpose from within using your voice and ministry to make a difference.
  • HOW TO BE CONNECTED IN OUR CHURCH THROUGH MEMBERSHIP:
  •   It begins with a transformed life in Jesus Christ.
  •   Attend and complete the New Member Class and follow through on materials and information provided.
  •  Get involved in worship, a Sunday School class or Small Group, and serve others with a growing passion for God.
