OC Naz has a variety of Christian Education opportunities designed with you in mind. We have options for the new and curious or those who have been walking with the Lord for years; those preferring large classes or small groups; and those wanting to delve into Biblical topics or relational interests. Regardless of where you find yourself in life our goal is to provide you with the resources, support, and encouragement you’ll need to grow in your relationship with God and others. The mission of Sunday School is to carry out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of Christian holiness. Sunday School hour is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  You can find a pamphlet listing classes, locations and current topics of study at one of the welcome stations. One of our friendly greeters can also assist you in finding a class. We have a variety of Small Groups and Recovery Groups throughout the year such as: Financial Peace University and Celebrate Recovery. Watch the bulletins for times and locations. Bible Study groups are held throughout the year for men and women. Our Hispanic Ministries also has a Women’s Bible Study group.

Sunday School:  Classes are available for children 2 years through 6th grade.  Bible based, age appropriate classes that allow children to learn about God in ways that make sense to them. We carefully screen our teachers before entrusting them to work with children. Children’s Church: “The Believers” is held in the May Activity Center/Hohn Hall at 10:45 a.m.   This is a time for children ages 4 years to 6th grade to learn about God while their parents attend Sunday morning worship.  We have prayer groups, memory verses and bible story time, games and music.

Quizzing (1st – 6th grades):  Children’s Quizzing is a Bible study for children in grades 1-6.      Caravan is a Nazarene Bible-based scouting ministry that meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm throughout the school year.  Kids learn Bible scriptures along with earning various skill badges and special awards.  The Caravan ministry exists to help children become more like Jesus by encouraging their growth in the four specific areas mentioned in Luke 2:52: mental, physical, spiritual and social.  Children become members of one of the four major groups based on their age:  Benson’s Buddies (4 years to 6 years, but not yet in 1st Grade); Searchers (1st/2nd graders); Explorers (3rd/4th graders); or Adventurers (5th/6th graders).  Each group is under the direction of one or more adult Guides.

NO REGISTRATION FEES. This ministry is a great visitor-friendly kids’ club where kids discover, develop, experience and grow in their understanding of an appreciation for being part of God’s church family.
